"Best holographic I have used. The rainbow shift is stronger than the stuff I was getting from my old supplier, and it weeded cleanly on my Graphtec."

Holographic vinyl: questions and answers

Choose holographic sign vinyl by its finish, adhesive and roll size. These answers explain what to check before ordering and where to find practical guidance for your project.

What is holographic vinyl?

Holographic vinyl is a self-adhesive film that reflects light to create a shifting rainbow effect. It can be used for decorative signs, stickers, graphics and displays. Choose a finish and adhesive suited to your intended surface, and check the product specifications before ordering.

How do I choose a holographic finish?

Compare the plain, glitter, prismatic and smashed glass options by the effect you want to achieve. A sample pack lets you inspect the finish in your own lighting and assess it against your artwork before committing to a full roll.

How can I check the available roll widths?

Width options vary by finish. Open the relevant product page to see its available sizes and choose the option that fits your cutter or printer and the width of your artwork. Check the listed roll length as well as the width before ordering.

Can I order samples before buying a roll?

Yes. A holographic vinyl sample pack is available from our shop. Use samples to compare the appearance of the finishes and test suitability for your intended project before choosing a roll.

Do you offer UK delivery?

Yes. We offer free UK delivery on orders. In-stock rolls are dispatched on working days. If your project has a deadline, contact us to confirm stock and dispatch arrangements before ordering; dispatch and arrival are different stages.

Where can I get help choosing and applying vinyl?

Our guides cover choosing holographic vinyl and preparing for application. For help with a specific finish, surface or order, call 0113 460 5436 or email sales@holographicvinyl.co.uk. Our contact hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
